helps everyday people within the Lake Gaston and Roanoke River Valley area deal with their challenging access and transportation circumstances. Basic “access” and “transportation” are small words, but they are critical for maintaining, or even improving, someone’s quality of life. The two primary services offered by Helpful Hands and Hearts to people in need are: constructing Access Ramps and offering Transportation to basic services such as medical appointments or the grocery store.
